About this lesson

Welcome to Day 68 of your 90-day journey to finding love.

Today we’re continuing our focus on positive thinking and personal growth by reflecting on something that can sometimes feel difficult: past relationships.

When relationships end, it’s natural to remember the painful moments or the disappointment that followed. Heartbreak can make it difficult to see anything positive from those experiences.

But the truth is, every relationship you’ve had began for a reason.

There was something that attracted you to that person.
There were moments of connection, learning, or growth that shaped who you are today.

Even relationships that didn’t last forever often leave behind valuable experiences that help you understand yourself better and clarify what you want in the future.

Today’s exercise invites you to shift your perspective slightly.

Instead of focusing on what went wrong, take a moment to identify three positive aspects you gained from past relationships.

Maybe you learned:

  • How to communicate better
  • What qualities truly matter to you
  • How to recognize compatibility
  • What boundaries you need in future relationships

Sometimes the positive aspects are lessons.
Sometimes they are memories.
Sometimes they are personal growth.

Moving forward in your journey requires creating space for new experiences, and one of the best ways to do that is by leaving the past with a sense of gratitude rather than resentment.

This doesn’t mean ignoring pain or pretending everything was perfect.

It simply means recognizing that each experience helped you grow and move closer to the relationship you truly deserve.

Love is a journey.

And every step — even the difficult ones — helps guide you toward the right person.
